I’m Laura Hilke, and I’m a senior this year at Manchester High School.  It’s going pretty well this year.  I’m keeping my grades up and trying to do well.  I’m taking English, French 5, Pre-Calculus, Participation in American Society (only for half the year), Orchestra, and Anatomy & Physiology, and next semester I’ll be taking pottery.  So it’s pretty exciting.  I was also in marching band until last month when it ended, playing the marimba and some auxillary percusion.  We went to I think 3 competitions and placed well at each.  It was our best year, at least since I joined sophomore year.  We also did half time shows at our school’s home football games, which weren’t many, but that’s ok.  I have an orchestra concert coming up on Wednesday.  But I’m not sure what else to write now, so I’ll update later.
